Dr. VJ Byra Reddy

Dr. V.J. Byra Reddy holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Mangalore University and a post-graduate degree in Economics from Bangalore University. His areas of teaching expertise include managerial economics, advanced microeconomics, international business, research methods, and public policy. Dr. Reddy possesses 27 years of total work experience comprising 23 years in higher education in the areas of academic administration and teaching and 4 years in industry in entry- and middle-level management positions. In addition to being a talented teacher and respected scholar, Dr. Reddy is one of the pioneers in quality assurance for higher education.

In his most recent full-time academic assignment, Dr Reddy served as professor and Dean of Academics, Quality, and Accreditations at Amity University in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Prior to joining Amity, he held various faculty, administrative, and quality assurance positions at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES)-Dehradun, Indus Business Academy (IBA)-Bangalore, and the Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences (AIMS)-Bangalore.

Presently, he is founder and Principal of Vanguard Business Education Services, [VBES] LLC Pennsylvania, USA

Dr. Reddy has been a visiting professor at National Institute for Social Development, Sri Lanka during 2013. He has also been a visiting professor at Cag University, Adana, Turkey During December 2019 – January 2020, where he taught Ph.D Students Research Methodology. Among his other visiting assignments; he has taught advanced microeconomics to masters students of economics at the National College, Basavangudi, Bangalore during 2011 – 2013 and has taught economics of event management to students of University of Technology, Meghayala in 2014.

Over the years, Dr. Reddy has delivered Management Development Programs and Executive Development Programs to a variety of organizations and higher education institutions. In addition, he has published more than thirty scholarly papers in national and international journals and edited books. His significant international experience includes participation in various academic conferences and events and invited teaching positions and accreditation site-visits in Asia, the United States, Europe, Scandinavia, and Africa.
